LOVERCRAFT Stoner Rock Psychedelic Band
Lovercraft is a rock band (1998-2000), currently disbandaded, formed by the
original members of La SECTA Txetxu (Bass), Pat to the guitars, and the
incredible voice of Eriz, reinforced by Iñigo at second guitar, from The
Drellas and with a wide curriculum in the world of the Rock, (Flying Pigs,
Forest Pigs...) to the drums: Igor-Txiripi.
Their official first work
begins with the international STONER ROCK compilation: THE MOBS NEW PLAN
released by the International label Water Dragon records, where Lovercraft
intervenes with 2 songs: Mushroom and Welcome, where are picked up moments of
Garage-Rock, Detroit and dense psychedelic atmospheres, Stonerrock influences & seventies.
The sonic
concept is related close with the first album of LA SECTA, "Blue
Tales" Oniric Lyrics, Surrealistics, with literary influences of, Poe,
Carroll, etc. In this Comp also participates the following bands Satellite
Circle, Zerocharisma, 500 ft of Pipe , Twin Earth, Black Rock, Ufomamut and
Abdullah.
In the 2 songs of Lovercraft the new rules
are profiled to follow, with influences and to the same time with personality
and own idiosyncrasy, that they relate to the American homonyms like Kyuss, Fu-Manchu
or Monster Magnet and with Anglo-Saxon like Spacemen 3, Electric Wizard, Orange
Goblin, etc. Lovercraft has achieved that foreigners
Labels are been interested in the band, apart from mentioned WaterDragon Rds.,
as well as the Australian label Highbeam, also slope of a possible edition.
Waiting for a good welcomed of the
recording, we invited to who I/he/she/it/you could be interested in like
nominative, at next gig that the band has foreseen presently and for the
specialized press mediums that cover the world of the underground music.

Lovercraft (1998-2000), es un proyecto formado por los miembros originales de La Secta Txetxu al bajo, Pat a las guitarras, y la increíble voz de Eriz, reforzados por Iñigo a la segunda guitarra, procedente de The Drellas y con un amplio historial en el mundo del Rock, (Flying Pigs, Forest Pigs...) a la batería destacar a Igor-Txiripi. Su discografia oficial comienza con la recopilación internacional STONER ROCK: THE MOBS NEW PLAN del sello Internacional Water Dragon records, donde Lovercraft interviene con 2 temas: Mushroom y Welcome donde se recogen momentos de Garage-Rock, Detroit e influencias Stonerrock & seventies.
El concepto sónico está relacionado estrechamente con el primer álbum de La Secta,"Blue Tales". Letras oníricas, surrealistas, con influencias literarias de , Poe, Carroll, etc. Ademas de Lovercraft también participan las siguientes bandas Satellite Circle, Zerocharisma, 500 ft of Pipe, Twin Earth, Black Rock, Ufomamut y Abdullah
En los 2 temas de Lovercraft se perfilan las nuevas pautas a seguir,con influencias y al mismo tiempo con personalidad e idiosincrasia propias, que relacionan a la banda con homónimos americanos como Kyuss, Fu Manchu o Monster Magnet y con anglosajones como Spacemen 3, Electric Wizard, Orange Goblin, etc.
Lovercraft ha logrado que Labels extranjeros se interesen por la banda, ademas de la mencionada recopilación, en el sello WaterDragon Rds., así como el sello australiano Highbeam, también pendiente de una posible edición.
Esperando una buena acogida de la grabación,invitamos a quienes pueda interesar tal propuesta,a los próximos directos que la banda tiene previstos en breve y para los medios de comunicación especializados que cubren el mundo de la música underground.
Noviembre 1999... Lovercraft empiezan su andadura en directo, dando conciertos memorables como el de MONDRAGÖN, junto a MERMAID, Soraluze, Gwendolyne (Getxo), Zaldibar, BILBOROCK dentro del concurso Villa de Bilbao etc y el sello Water Dragon Rds., de Francia ofrece a Lovercraft la oportunidad de aparecer en una compilación Stoner europea de próxima aparición.
La Grabación se realiza en los studios TIO PETE con J. Lastra de
Ingeniero. Se grabaron 3 temas en toma directa, todos los músicos a a la vez,
dos de estos temas Mushroom y Welcome finalmente fueron a parar a la
recopilación francesa. Esta recopilación The Mob's new plan aparecen junto a
Lovercraft las siguientes bandas internacionales: Satellite Circle, Zerocharisma, 500 ft of
Pipe, Twin Earth, Black Rock, Ufomamut y Abdullah.
